Knowsys an innovative test preparation company that offers customizable preparation services for standardized admissions exams.  Knowsys (pronounced “know-sis” and derived from the Greek word for knowledge) offered its first classes in May 2003.  Knowsys currently offers courses and tutoring for the GMAT, the SAT, the PSAT, and the GRE and will be introducing courses for the ACT and the LSAT soon.

Personalized Classroom Experience.  Knowsys’ innovative delivery system brings the flexibility and personal tailoring of the private tutoring experience into the classroom.  Unlike most off-the-shelf test preparation services, Knowsys has designed its curriculum and materials so that each course can be adjusted to the strengths and weaknesses of the students.  Knowsys’ flexible curriculum allows an instructor to survey his or her particular class and determine the best strategy for instruction.  Each student receives detailed diagnostic feedback following each of their diagnostic exams.  The Knowsys instructor then uses that feedback to tailor the in-class instruction to the needs of the class.  Homework assignments differ based on an individual’s particular strengths and weaknesses. 

Relationship Driven.  Knowsys further differentiates itself by emphasizing strong relationships with the community.  Knowsys actively pursue partnerships with high schools, universities, and community organizations and nurture those partnerships with strong communication, mutually-developed course goals, and common interest in the students’ academic and personal development.
